SECOND OFFICIAL VISIT TO YANAGOA, BAYELSA STATE, 2021

NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT SYMPOSIUM, INFRASTRUCTURE AND PROMOTION NON-OIL SECTOR SUMMIT IN NIGER DELTA POST COVID 19 RESPONSE

The second visit was a follow-up and respond visit following the letter submitted to the executive governor Bayelsa state during an initial courtesy call on him by the chairman of the Planning and Organizing Committee, led by the chairman of the Advisory Council, HE, Dietie-Spiff, Ex- governor of Old River state. The purpose of the second visit was in respond by the Bayelsa state government, schedule a presentation meeting on the proposal National Symposium on Niger – Delta Infrastructure Development and Non-Oil Sector summit proposed to be held in Bayelsa.

Activities undertaken

  1. Initial meeting with Hon. Commissioner -17th January 2021 An initial/familiarization meeting took place on Sunday as the Commoner on Industry, Trade Investment, Honorable Braboke Stanley Enaibagha, took his time to visit the planning committee on arrival at the De Brass Suite, Eketi, Azikoro road, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
  2. Inspection of Venue, Accommodation and Recreational Facilities proposed for the Summit. Tuesday 19th of January 2021 Hon. Braboke Stanley Enaibagha, Commissioner on Industry, Trade and Investment, detailed Prince Ebiuwou Jackson, Executive Assistant and Fred Ebah and Personal Assistant to the Honorable Commissioner on tour to the facilities on Monday the 19th January 2021.

The following facilities was inspected by the 4-member team comprising 2 member of the planning and organizing committee (Hon. Moses O.T Owharo and Dr. Aliyu Ibrahim)
